It is that time again that I make the next iteration of my backpack and I want to make it where the main pocket is completely waterproof. If only way I could ensure a waterproof inside is to tape my seams and have a roll-top for the main compartment. I've considered using hybrid cuben, but the cost is prohibitive. I am strongly considering using Gridstop with a last resort using Xpac.
If no one can offer me advice, I might just have to go with the Hybrid cuben which would put a hold on the pack until after I save up a bit more.
I sent an email to Chris Zimmer of Zimmerbuilt packs, but I have not heard anything (his site says that he is out of town for a while but doesn't tell for how long).
If anyone has any experience even stories of what DIDN'T work, that would be great. Thanks.
