    WTB/WTT Tenkara rod/gear

I have no experience with Tenkara except internet research, but it seems to be a good fit for the creeks that I fish. Does anybody have a decent rod that they would be willing to sell or trade? I have several hammocks/fabric/fly fishing stuff/t**ts/tarps/all kinds of stuff for trade. I am a noob so please don't take advantage of me. Thank you ladies and gentlemans.

I am pretty sure that i have read Mummbles and HK2001 both talk about this gear, you should try one of them in a pm.

i'm a fly-fisherman myself, and in N. Ga where i do most of my trout fishing, the mountain creeks are usually quite tight. for this reason i looked into tenkara and other options, and while i haven't had any real tenkara experience, my $10-15 10-11' (respectively) black widow and bream buster telescoping 'cane pole' style rods work great! they dap with the best of em, and for nymphing where there's some weight on the line, it's really not that hard to flick it out there. as for dry flies, besides the aforementioned dapping, it's not so easy to get your line (in this case flat leader, huh?) out there. i'm experimenting with tying a short section of fly line to the end of the rod soon. will let you know how it goes. for the short term though the b&m black widow or bream buster are a great cheap option to get into the style. jmho
