Woot Deal - Grand Trunk Packable Down Blanket

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but the Grand Trunk Down Blanket is on woot for $50. Anyone have any experience with these?

Maybe I'm just not seeing it... Or maybe they took it down already. :-(

Woot has this a lot. Never saw it in person, and always curious about instant TQ or UQ on the cheap. That said, I have a feeling this may be total garbage. If I am wrong, please let me know. I am always weary when down articles don't state their fill power. Typically, when it is decent, manufacturers want you to know that. When they just say "down," I assume the worst of the worst down is in there. Also, this is a 50/50 blend of down and feathers.
IF I'm wrong, and someone has this and feels that for 50 dollars, and a DIY suspension, a better quilt can't be bought. I'ld be the first one curious. But my gut has always stopped me from purchasing this myself.
Here is the link though for those that are curious, but couldn't find it easy. Woot has gotten to be a pain to shift through sometimes. You have to check entire page of sport, sellout, and regular woot if you are looking for camping stuff. http://www.woot.com/offers/grand-tru...f=cnt_wp_10_11

I was gifted one that I use as a throw on the sofa in the winter time. It is ok for that purpose and I suppose it would work in the hot summer time in my hammock in a pinch or for a day nap in the hammock. My issues with it for overnight camping is that it is very narrow, has cold spots because the down is not consistently held in place, and the "puff" factor I have come to expect with down is just not there. I tossed it into the dryer with tennis balls when I first got it because it was so flat. I can't really say that it helped it very much. My 2 cents is pass on it for hammock use.

    Good info.
    Thanks for the info.
I have seen this one a few times and thought it might be too good to be true.
