    How about tarp extensions? It not being sil won't be a problem - the .5oz would stop the blowing rain/wind and it would drip the water outside the tarp.

    Note these tarp extensions are 1m X 1m with tieouts at all 4 corners. It is shown attached above the suspension, but if you put it under the suspension (maybe with its own mini ridgeline) and it would also work as a peak beak.

    The fabric is so light I doubt it would last well in most situations. As bubba said it so fragile it makes you feel like your treading on egg shells around it I rooted around in my fabric box and found some weighing in a ~.65oz and that felt substantial enough to actually be useful ! There seems to be a point at which lighter probably isn't better
