How about tarp extensions? It not being sil won't be a problem - the .5oz would stop the blowing rain/wind and it would drip the water outside the tarp.

Note these tarp extensions are 1m X 1m with tieouts at all 4 corners. It is shown attached above the suspension, but if you put it under the suspension (maybe with its own mini ridgeline) and it would also work as a peak beak.

The fabric is so light I doubt it would last well in most situations. As bubba said it so fragile it makes you feel like your treading on egg shells around itI rooted around in my fabric box and found some weighing in a ~.65oz and that felt substantial enough to actually be useful ! There seems to be a point at which lighter probably isn't better
