Why do people post trip report videos here, but not in the Media Library section?

Just wondering.

I did a three night trip last week, and am in the process of editing the video now, and was thinking about how to let people know that its available once I've published it. Is there some reason I shouldn't both put a link in this forum, and in the Media section?

There are 377 videos in the trips report section. Post away in both.

The media section has always seemed like a repository of the collective forum. Trip reports are more of a place to tell folks about your trip and be able to answer questions folks have about it. Each serve a purpose. If someone wants to know about places and your trip in general then a browse of the trip reports section, just cruising videos them media seems more appropriate. Like Octo said post to both.
