So I made a quick and dirty UQ from some random scrap I had laying around. Its intended for indoor use while reading of watching the TV. It turned out warmer than expected so could actually be used outside, though its obviously fairly large when rolled up.

It measures about 40" x 40" and is made from two pieces of fleece (200 weight) sewn together with 1.3oz ripstop on either side. 25mm grosgrain channels on the ends and 15mm on the edges, the 25mm grosgrain also forms the corner loops I use for hanging the quilt off of.

I'm a bit flummoxed as to how to get the ripstop to not droop though, I sewed a diagonal stitch across the body of the quilt that helps but its kinda ugly. This was a project to practice sewing a synthetic quilt so do synthetics droop or are they stitched in some way that doesn't compress the loft?
