Homochitto National Forest Clear Springs Trail complex

I know there may be some football concerns that weekend as well. Not saying the date is firm but let's get some more responses and get a little closer to the end of September before we nail something down. I'll start a new thread at for communication and advertisement and hopes of getting some more interest in the option.

Bringerofgame, I'm not sure its fair for you to bring your own sports team to gang up on the other hangers but it sounds like it'd be a gas to watch.

We surely need something in MS for MS. I know there are a lot of hangers in the state. They are just really quiet...unlike me.

I could go if it is Homochitto just would like some dates.

I love clear springs rec. area. I have camped out there probably 4 or 5 times. I just recently did an over-nighter there about 1.5 weeks ago. I stay at the primitive camp area. Trails are nice for hiking. I have also biked the clear springs area before, but the trails are lacking in maintenance for biking purposes.
