    Suspension change

Seriously considering buying a new suspension setup. Dutch's Beetle Buckles currently have my attention. I use the Warbonnet strap/buckle setup and it works fine but I like the ease of beetle buckle system. Based on searches I assume I can use the buckles on the Warbonnet poly straps? Or should I buy Dutch's straps along with the buckles?

    Hmmm. Help me decide

Thankfully WB gives you CL options when purchasing so all I'd have to do is remove the buckle CL and put the single CL on. I keep my straps in a separate bag.

You can use the WB poly straps. Lots of people prefer them to others.

+1 on that, you can use the WB poly straps with the Beetle Buckles. FWIW, I use my WB Eldorado with the DW Beetle Buckle/Spider-Poly straps. Love it, great combo.

If your BB is older and had WB buckles, those buckles are probably spliced onto the CLs. In that case, just replace the CLs and you'll be set. Later WB buckles are on a separate CL that you larkshead to the "regular" CL on the hammock. That comes off super easily. I use Beetle Buckles on WB's poly straps quite regularly.

My hammock is the new version but it came with two CL's. One with the spliced buckles. one without. So I just need to swap them out.

I like the segmented poly loops and carabiner. No fiddling and just works well.
Some days I can't tell whether I found a rope or lost a horse...
