What happened to the dutch buckle???

Earlier I was reading The Ultimate Hang, by Derek Hansen, and I saw dutch buckles in there. I liked the idea of mixing whoopies and cinch buckles, but why are they discontinued? Where can I get them?

wierd. i don't see it listed on the dutchsters site. i know sometimes if he runs out he will actually take them down from the website until he can get more cut. i love mine!

wait a second, dutch now sells dream hammock's strapbuckles, which can do the same thing. sweet!

I believe Dutch has just withdrawn them for the time being.

If I remember correctly, one person threaded the webbing wrong, had a problem and Dutch withdrew them until he could figure a way to prevent it.

There was nothing wrong with the buckles, someone used them wrong and claimed to fall,, Dutch is just trying to make sure everyone is gonna use them proper and he is working on how to do that before he puts them back on the market,, he would rather no one get hurt than to make money. !
Me on the other hand have a pair for sale for $500.00 bucks shipped !..
