    Just received my Dangerbird...WOW...

Just received my Dangerbird #935 and all I can say is WOW!
The attention to detail and the stitching is beyond my
expectations. The matching double ended stuffsack and
the solid carbon toggles are a really nice touch(makes
a heavy guy like me feel safer). This thing feels surprisingly
light packed up.Should be able to get out and hang in it
    tomorrow.
    Great job PapaSmurf and MamaSmurf
    Thank you,well worth the wait.
    Gary

(Sorry,I can't post pics,my 'puter won't let me for some reason.)

For some reason I thought it came with hollow toggles like arrow
shafts and planned on swapping them out.I guess hollow ones
would be fine since you hang on the knot and not the toggle, but
being a heavy guy, the solid ones make me feel more comfortable.
So I was pleasantly surprised. As I said before, the whole package
exceeds my expectations and I was expecting a lot for the price.

Here's the specs and a couple photos.
    http://www.dream-hammock.com/order_d...html?order=935

A while back we switched to a solid 3/8" black acetyl toggle. They're heavier at a whopping 16g for the pair. The arrow shafts always made me a little nervous in case someone accidentally hung on the toggle instead of the knot. Always hang on the knot. Although these have never been officially tested, I have purposely hung directly on the toggle and bounced around in the hammock with no issues.

Do you feel it would be safe to drill a tiny hole through these
toggles to attach a small keeper cord?

Oh yea, as long as you keep the hole over toward the edge where there's no stress I think that would work great.
