That is pretty interesting, I hadn't seen it before. Looks like a marvel of engineering.
Good luck,

Good find! It looks like z great design but maybe too bulky / heavy for carrying far. I'm not sure about the foot area and, thought the tarp itself looks good, the amok seems to be touching it when rigged.
It looks like a very thoughtful design built to a high standard though, so bravo
Very Cool, Very Heavy , But really outside the box.
Very cool design. I like the way the bug net is integrated into the system. Looks like a lot of thought went into this design.

There are a couple of people who noticed this. See my post #4 in this thread.
Yeah, I think this seems to be similar to what Exped came up with, but perhaps a bit better. The exped supposedly fits a long wide exped pad, but I've heard folks say its short. That would be my concern here. Didn't see any spec on that.
Gotta like the beerholder, eh?!? I thought those dang europeans didn't like cupholders?

Interesting. We've discussed making something like this before. It looks like the quality is pretty good.
I'm curious how it would fit with most tarps since you are turned the wrong way. I'm also curious how it lays without the pad. He clearly has some back support as he demonstrates, I'm curious how that all works to keep your feet and head from wanting to fold back over the edge.
Also would need to know if you scrap the pad, can you use an under-quilt?
It's a neat idea, but at over 4lbs and a presale price of nearly $400...makes me wonder if it'll ever catch on.

This probably requires it's own tarp. I had to reconfigure my 8.5' x 11' tarp to hang sideways when I used my right-angle hammock, and it wasn't a perfect solution. The pad is probably necessary for structure, just as it was with the Exped Ergo (which actually hangs at a 45° angle). My hammock used a short pad under my legs and had down insulation built into the torso area, so it was lighter, but it required a more complicated suspension to keep it extended. (It's a work-in-progress which I will get back to some day.)https://www.hammockforums.net/galler...hp?i=17328&c=4
