So i've been wanting a ridge runner and father's day is coming up. Like many here, i've been coaxing my wife into the idea of spending some major bucks on a hammock for a while (this will be my first hammock).

Well, last night she spilled the beans on my father's day gift. The problem is, she knew she ordered the wrong thing and it was took late to update the order.

She ordered me a single layer ridge runner with whoopies and (the best part) a tarp door kit. I don't currently have a tarp, so i found it hilarious. Also, i'm 215lbs, so I the single layer isn't rated high enough for me.

I was totally surprised and overjoyed that she would get me such a nice gift. She feels really bad that i'll have to send it back, but i let her know that i'm totally trilled and it doesn't matter it was wrong. But i still give her a hard time about the door kit!

So know i'll just contact Brandon and get it swapped for a dual layer RR and a Superfly. Can't wait to join the Hammock community!

Welcome, mighty nice lady you got there. I have not personally dealt with brandon, but the forum can attest to the amazing customer service from warbonnet. Enjoy that hammock of yours!

Yeah I'm a lucky guy. Brandon already got back to me. I'll just send it all back and get what's needed.

Oh I remeber the days when my wife would have done something like this for me. Give it time buddy, now I hear what did you get now. Did you really need it. Don't get me wrong she is awsome it is just funny to hear your story and think, my wife use to do stuff like this.
