It was beautiful and clear here. It was chilly and I didn't get out if the hammock. I guess sleepy eyes and the bug net interfered, because I didn't see any meteors

I was setup also. It was a perfect night with clear skies and a light breeze. I think I woke up to see the meteor shower but the Blackbird pulled me back in. the Blackbird is a cruel mistress

Had a hard time staying awake (go figure) but did not see a meteor. I did notice a satellite passing over.

    Beautiful night for a hang.

We saw one shooting star and the satellite as well. We laid a twin mattress down on the deck so me and the kids could just look up. They faded fast and went to bed. I slept out there with my TQ on the mattress.

Clouds and rain here in Massachusetts. Kids were disappointed.

I got up at 3 and stepped out on the balcony for a minute or two. If it was just another meteor shower I wasn't all that excited, but I saw talk of up to several hundred a minute online. That I would have stayed up for.
Sadly, even with clear skies, nothing was happening out there like that.

I sleep out in the hammock most nights. I got in the hammock around 10:30 and kept peeking out under the tarp ever so often, nothing. I got up several times during the night on up until the early morning, nothing. Seems the meteor shower was a little over-hyped.
    There's no excuse for laziness...

but, if you find one, let me know.
