    2nd DIY hammock

Here's my second project. The hammock and suspension are complete. The bugnet is complete is except for adding patches with button holes to feed the guidelines through for the asym line pulls. I've chosen to go with a tube type bugnet setup, this way i can remove it easily and hopefully it will provide some protection from bugs underneath the hammock.

Thanks to everyone all the great info on the site.

Nice looking hammock, good job. Not sure where your gonna pack the pink tricycle though? Where did you get your D-rings? I like your set-up.

Great looking project. Hook up some helium balloons to that pink bike and you won't have to worry about packing it. Just make silnylon balloons so they're more durable than those cheap latex ones everybody uses. Those things pop at the drop of a pin.

I found the D-rings at my local thrift store. I bought three webbing style belts for $1.85. Had to search a little through the belt section to make sure I found solid or welded D-rings. Great source for cheap stuff.
