But it looks like the majority of the strap is 1". With a shorter length of 2", it looks like it would work real well.
I just received my straps and quickdraws today, the craftsmanship is top notch, I will definitely be ordering more in the future. Thanks.
I spoke to Dutch about a 2" clip, and he currently has no plans to produce them. He tried once, but they didn't sell... Of course, all this may change as more and more places are requiring 2" straps. I have a pair of the 1" clips coming my way and will try them on my 2" straps. If I can get it to work, I'll post pictures on this thread.
BTW, they 2 to 1 straps look really good, may need to try a pair!
To use the Dutch Clip, you could ask RSGary to sew a 1" loop on the end of the 2" instead of looping the 2". Lack of Dutchware problem solved. Assuming RSGary would do that.
Edit: Those are great looking straps. Much better looking than my diy's.

even if you had a 1 inch loop the part of the strap that goes around the tree is 2 inches wide, thats the whole point of the 2 inch - to protect the tree, unless you make the 2 in part a custom length for a certain tree but you would have to find the exact same size tree every time ! or fold the strap at the clip and hope to be able to stuff it in, lets see what Fire bug comes up with. or just use a light wieght biner, or run the strap thru the loop, no hard ware required at all.
I was just going off the pictures above. It looks like it goes from 2 to 1 on one side anyway so I figured if someone had dutch clips already, they could have the loop on the end and not have to get a 2" set. Plus, the two inch will be heavier. The 2" segment on those wouldn't barely wrap around the trees where I go so I didn't think about having to clip it to small trees. Good catch.

I'm sorry if I wasn't completely clear with my question. Where can I find data on the weights, in ounces or grams per foot, of the webbing? Not the load strength, the weight of the webbing material itself? Typical 1" polyester webbing used for tree huggers weighs between 0.2 and 0.3 oz/ft. Most 2" seat belt webbing weighs close to 1 oz/ft. Is this information on your web site? I apologize, but I just can't find it anywhere. Thanks.
I can't help with the per foot weight specs. But if anyone is curious about the weight of the straps in the OP, they weigh 17.3 ounces or 490 grams including the quickdraws. Without the quickdraws(pictured), they weigh 14.2 ounces or 405 grams.
I use 2" homemade polyester treestraps.

I just tied figure-8 knots in one end of each to form the loops. Each strap is about 7 feet long (~8 feet of strap each with the loops). With the toggles and toggle keepers, both straps come in at around 8 ounces total.
