Video: Annual Spring time Cheaha hang

My son and I were able to join several other hammock hangers at the Cheaha fall area in the Cheaha Wilderness area here in north Alabama for the annual spring hammock hang. We had a total of 12 hangers the first night, 8 on the second night. We had several first timers, as well as some kids, including my son. We had ABC, Jaxx (and nephew), Grapenut, New2Trees (with wife and daughter), Prob, Obmit (and son), and my son and I. I did not get a lot of footage, but we had a great time. Here is a short video...hope you enjoy.

Another nice video Aboyd! This was definitely a nice outing. Jaxx, Beeazy (Jaxx's nephew) and I had a nice couple of days of hiking and camping on the front-end, with some fellowship at Cheaha falls on the last two nights with the rest of the HF bunch. The weather couldn't have been better! One of the things I really like about the Cheaha area is that the water is flowing across the falls year-round, and there is always a great swimming hole nearby to jump in and under at the end of the day.

If you haven't been to one of these then I encourage you to join us for the next one. If hiking is your thing, we usually have a small group that gets there a day or two early to get some miles under our belt before joining the group at the falls.

Good fellowship and low stress is the norm. And again, the swimming hole can't be beat. Fun for all ages!

We had a great time as well I really wish we could of stayed another night. My wife's B- Day was the 27th as well.
We did miss the swimming hole , Maybe next time.
