    Cow Creek Meadow hang (WA)

Did a hang in Cow Creek Meadow in the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area of Washington State a couple of weeks ago. Used my Byer Moskito and continue to enjoy it. Posted a trip report here so will not duplicate it. I WILL, however, post a couple pictures of my hang:

Suffice it to say that the Byer is working great for me so far. I have gotten the hang of the cords, and even the netting is less of a problem. I think it is ready for prime time. Better be, cause I am heading out next week for a 100 mile traverse of the Pasayten Wilderness just south of the Canadian border.

Fantastic setting for a hang. Looks like a great trip.

"Not too shabby". Saw your TR over at NWHikers.net on the long hike in the Pasayten - outstanding!

How'd the Byer work in the Pasayten? That thing has a pretty thin bottom. What'd you use for underneath insulation?

Hi hikingjer, I wrote a little report here too about that adventure. I use a CCF pad and a thermarest 3/4 so I can go to ground if needed. Seem to work just fine, although I did find some moisture forming under my back from time to time and that put a slight chill on me. Not enough to really affect my sleep, but I would wake up with a little coolness. All and all, I was very happy with the Moskito performance on this extreme trek.
