Going broke since joining this forum!

I wanted to thank everyone on this forum and especially those that I have bought items from. I have only been here a short time but my wallet has got incredibly lighter. I have been contemplating making the switch to hammocks for some time now and recently bought my first hammock. I have enjoyed it so far.

    Thanks again for the knowledge.

Just wait until you think you have the perfect gear and go to a group hang then decide you need to sell everything and upgrade. It happened to me and it's not just contained in hammock stuff - hammock, tarp, quilts, and suspension type. It also affects cookware, packs, Dutch bling, and other assorted items....

I'm still saving for that Nanopuff jacket....

Make it easy on yourself and turn in the necessary forms to your employer for a direct deposit into your Dutchware account.

I am going to be really bummed if it turns out that an obsession is a problem.

    It does get better.

The people here and great cottage vendors taught me so much and helped me to reach goals!

Now I get ads and have no desire to look at them because I'm satisfied with my gear (not all DIY projects are finished yet but have my head around them and just looking for the time.)

I've saved a lot of money on DIY projects. Any cost of equipment I've bought, including a used sewing machine, is recouped.

To top it off a local rancher has given me permission to hang on his place. Thinking about going out there this evening to explore.
