Enjoyable video. Interesting trail. Don't apologize for the bilingualism--be happy you are fluent in two languages. Btw Thanks for the captions-- was that a lot of work to do?
Loved the shot of the beaver swimming around. And the wood stoves...looks like you had an Ikea stove, am I right?
I'm going to have to look into hiking some sections of the sentier. Thanks for putting it on the radar.

Thanks for the comments! The captions were suprisingly easy to do. You can do them directly in Youtube in the "Edit" Sections of the video. You just type the words as the video plays, and then you can adjust exactly the start and finish of the dialogue. Very easy.

And yes you are correct, mine was a DIY Ikea hobo stove It works very well. My friend has a more expensive Emberlit which is way lighter, but I can fit all my cook kit in mine and I am happy with it. Thanks again for watching and hope you can enjoy the Quebec trail one day

The language police issue is why I have stopped spending time and money in Quebec.

Well I'm glad to inform you that you don't need a translator to enjoy nature! I donc speak Swedish, but would love to travel to Sweeden for a canoe camping trip.

I do agree that the "language police" is a problem for english companies who are established here. It would be stupid for stores such as "Canadian Tire" to be called "Pneus Canadian Tire". However, I don't see how this problem affects nature lovers like us. All our provincial parks (SEPAQ http://www.sepaq.com/home/index.dot?language_id=1 ) are biligual and the documentation is perfectly translated.

Yeah, La Verendrye(for example) is well set up for Anglo canoeists. It's on my radar for next summer.
