Spent the 4th visiting Ninety-Six NHP then did an overnighter on the Edisto.
Sho-me used the Rosette UQ via Mark Rose and loved it. I used a Yeti under a single 1.7 while she was in a double 1.1
It was Sho-me's first time hanging and was an instant convert.
Thanks to Mark Rose for his effort in getting us this summer weight quilt-though I'm thinking after handling it that it will easily go late spring and early fall-of course with a 1/4CCF pad much further. Construction was fine.
Also thanks to Warbonnetguy for his efforts.
On the personal side it was really nice paddling with a woman who likes to hang, can avoid strainers on her own, assemble the stove and get the coffee made...wish me luck!

    Hot-a-mighty!
    I'd say that's a keeper.

Glad you got the quilt for your trip. Looks like a great trip! I will tell my daughter that it worked out alright. Maybe she will make me some more gear and sew a couple more

    def. kudos to your daughter

Please tell her she did an awesome job and surely others are interested in a 'base' model UQ? I won't call it an entry level UQ because the quality is too good.
