What are some good Thread Injector projects for beginners?

I asked this over on the WB forum but havn't had a reply yet.

Today I bought a sewing machine. I have been playing with it and so far have just practiced making lines on pieces of fabric.

What are some good, cheap projects for beginers? (I sewed alot in home-ec in 8th grads but this is the first time in 15 years)

(I have a cheap $25 walmart tent.... But I also have a Skeeter Beeter pro coming in the mail any day now. Its my first hammock)

I recommend making stuff sacks for your gear and double ended stuff sacks for your first of many hammocks. Easy to make and there are many ways to make them and variations on the design. The skills you learn from this will translate to making your DIY hammock, tarps ect,

stuff sacks, bishop bags, ridgeline organizers, peak bags, and really...hammocks (you know, for family and friends )
You could also try different bugnets and tarps once you get the settings dialed in.
