AR/OK Planning Ouachita Trail 3 Day Section Hike--Need Info!!!

I am planning a section hike on the Ouachita Trail from Talimina State Park to Hwy 259.
Has anyone here hiked this section in the last year?
My brother & I take an annual trip together and this is fairly close for both of us.
We are planning on taking 3 days to do the 30 miles. This should give us plenty of time to enjoy the trail.
I need info on parking & trail conditions.

Keep in mind that this is considered the toughest section of the OT. VERY rocky trail and difficult climbs. Depending on the time of year water could be a problem too
