    That's it? Wait... that's it!

Just got my Standard Cuben Fiber Tarp with doors (http://www.hammockgear.com/standard-...rp-with-doors/) in the mail today. It was partly subsidized by a spring NEHHA hang raffle win! Thanks again for donating, Hammock Gear! The turn-around was just about 3 weeks which is impressive when you consider that Trail Days was smack-dab in the middle of that period and they've been inundated with all those "ooh, its staring to get nice out - better order some new hammock gear" orders.

I was excited to open it up. For the very briefest moment when I picked up the super light USPS box it came in, however, I thought "That's it?". And then, fortunately, my senses kicked in and I thought "Wait... that's it!". The cardboard box it came in almost weighs as much as the tarp itself. It is absurdly light. Can't wait to try this thing out. Oh, and an unexpected surprise - it also came with a little tear repair kit. Awesome!

I'll be posting some sweet, sweet tarp pics and a more thorough review once I get the chance to try this thing out. Can't wait! Is it Friday yet?

    Thanks again Adam & Jenny!

I was lucky enough to win a to to NEHHA necklace. People ask me what it is and I reply, if I tell you I'll have to kill you.

Congrats! A cuben tarp is on my list at some point in the future. Would be nice to drop 8-10 ounces and still retain the same coverage.

    Enjoy the new gear.
