    Bugs from Underneath?

I'm thinking about a GT Skeeter Beeter Pro. Has anyone had any issues with biting bugs from the underside of the hammock?

I like in Florida so the mosquitoes can be pretty bad!

UPS should be bringing mine tomorrow. I'll let you know when I get a chance to try it out.

I'm sure you will have issues unless you spray the hammock with permethrin.

I have some sawyers. Do I just spray it directly on the hammock and bug net?

    Thanks.

    That should do it nicely.

i sleep on a pad , not a problem on bottom, but if my arms or hands touch the sides they eat me up. thinking about making a netting underquilt, not to keen about spraying my hammock with chems.

I understand your reticence to use permethrin. However, it is probably the safest pesticide on the market. If you look at mosquito and tick-borne illnesses closely, you might think differently.

+1 on what SilvrSurfr says.... You don't want to come down with any of the bad things Ticks and Mosquitos can pass onto you. It's a matter of choosing the "lessor" evil.
