Has anyone made a hammock from the 90x156 tablecloth?

I have outgrown my Eno, not literally, but I am ready for something more comfortable.

I had the chance to lay in an 11' hammock and it was leaps and bounds better as far as getting a flat lay.

I went ahead and ordered the monster size table cloth in hopes that I will have plenty of room in it, but now I think it might be a bit overkill. Does anyone use one that size, and is the weight ridiculous to pack, or will it be okay for packing and using under a tarp?

Best way might be to give it a try full size and adjust downward if needed.
I prefer the 60"x126" size, but others here enjoy the bigger, longer hammocks.

You can do a whipped end, start at the end, and work your way in, with new whipped ends until you find a length that works for you.

Okay, I don't have room or time to go somewhere to hang mine, but here are two picks showing packaged size (roughly a 13"x7" hotdog) and weight (just over 2 lbs)

I personally probably wouldn't take it backpacking, but it is very comfortable and I will keep it in my car.

Btw, you will want a tarp with an 11-12' Ridge line minimum. Preferably 12, the 11 would be the equivalent of a tiny asymmetric tarp.

I have a 12' tarp so I wasn't terribly worried, after the whipping and the sag it should fit under here.

Weight was more my concern. My eno and suspension are 1.75 lbs right now. I just made a set of whoopie slings for the one coming in the mail and if I can get it to a similar weight point with the addition of the whoopies, ridge line and tree straps I think it will work.

I guess my next concern is using my UQ with it, hopefully it isn't so huge that I can't adjust it properly.

Those caribiners that I use are about 1 and 1/8 ounce so if you are using whoopies you can shave two ounces.

At that size, you could fold it in half width-wise and still have a comfy DL...
