Yup 90 inches is way too wide I had to cut about 20 inches off and then run cat cuts in a few places but it sure is nice now it is done.
It just showed up finally.
I tossed it in the washing machine before whipping it to wash the China off it.
The thing is huger than I envisioned, but that's ok, lots to work with. I think with the new whoopies and the lightweight biners I ordered it should only be within a few ounces of my current set up.
Well, you guys were right, it is massive, and super comfy, but I think it is too big for the woods.
My tarp just barely fits over it, I would probably get wet if it rained.
I managed to fit my entire family in it though after I got it hung. There was even room of the dogs if we wanted to hoist the up there. The three of us could probably sleep very comfy in it actually, so I am going to keep it as-is and leave it in my truck either for work siestas or just for the family to use when we want to relax a bit.
i received mine 90x132 a week and a half ago, i want to use the zip type method at the ends, what would be the length of the zip tie? do they even make one long enough for all that fabric?

I've wondered about trying one of these as a winter hammock. The idea would be to take some of that excess fabric and attach it in some fashion over your sleep area creating an integrated 'hammock sock'.
Heck of a idea i might have to try that!!
I actually clip one side up to the ridge line creating a sun shade. Not sure there is enough fabric to do it on both sides and still have the diagonal lay.
