Hello! I am new to the hammock method but I am an avid hiker and camping enthusiast. I have been moving towards an Ultra Light model for my gear since I am doing more thru hikes now. I also have been getting into the MYOG scene pretty seriously now.
Eastern Sierras and JMT is my favorite location right now. I am planning on doing some thru hikes on parts of the JMT this summer and maybe into the winter, but i usually can be found out in Joshua Tree climbing during the winter. I use my hammock out at Jtree by using some pro and suspending between two big rocks. I have an EnoNest hammock right now but i am planning to make another one myself now that I have a sewing machine
Anyway, i have gone through a few threads on the forum so far and I am just loving all the great posts in here. Can't wait to start participating and communicating with all the awesome people here.
