    Argon Camo Tarp

i know other have posted threads about their diy tarps made from Dutch's sil argon but haven't seen anybody do one in the camo........until now!

made this to fit my diy bridge that sodakgrrl made for me, it has a 13' ridgeline with doors, it's a monster but just what i wanted, we went camping for 3 days last week and i finally got a chance to use it, it rained for 2 of those days and pretty hard for hours on end and i am happy to report not a leak to be found, any way here are some pics

Looking good. Looks like the Argon held up nice in the storm.

That looks AWESOME! The location looks like an area that I would hang in. I like bigger tarps as well and since I mostly car camp it is not such an issue. Very well done!! Think I will start on a new one. I have some reg. 1.9 oz. ripstop (not camo) that I will have to waterproof. I want to try and make mine with doors as well. Thanks for the pics!

Awesome tarp!! I wanted to get some material this week, but it looks like Dutch is all out at the moment. How much does it weight?

sodakgrrl made one too with doors out of the brown sil argon, her first tarp with doors and i don't think she will ever go back to one without

haven't weighed mine yet, sodakgrrl made one with a 10' ridgeline and doors and with the tie-outs/hardware and tarpskins it weighs 16.9oz, so i'm guessing maybe another 3-4oz. on top of that, i will weigh it and post, but won't be for a couple days

Nice work. I just wish the camo pattern wasn't so small and repeating. From a distance it looks like a magic-eye stereogram, defeating the camouflage's intended effect.
