    New Warbonnet Blackbird Hammock

I finally got my new BLACKBIRD hammock out into the woods for the first time,
just to see how easy or dificult it would be to pitch .
Well it was a piece of cake .
I am using a CAMMO CLAYTOR DIAMOND FLY SHEET ,boy does it look stealthy .
Also a JACKS "R" BETTER SHENANDOAH under quilt .
The only difference was that I had to use a DOUBLE SLIPPED HALF HITCH at the try buckles instead of a single slipped half hitch .
Maybe I was just not pulling the hitch tight enough !!!!

Also I was worried about making sure the fly sheet was tight enough and thinking about buying FIGURE 9`s for the guy lines, instead of knots .

After looking at a few, how to tie knots videos on YOUTUBE .
I thought I should be able to do that , I am not totaly stupid with out the expence of buying the FIGURE 9`s .
Turned out to be easy peasy .....
I fitted 2Q`s GEAR POCKET ORGANIZER and it works a treat .
I know that I have the shelf inside the hammock but if you can put more STUFF some where inside the hammock but not in the way when you are sleeping is a 2 thumbs up for me .

All in all it was simple and straight forward .
And it looks AWESOME IN CAMMO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dave ..

I saw the video ..... fun to try and find it in the woods. That camo is stealthy ..... got me thinking of one of those tarps.
What is the the weight of that tarp? If it was on the vid and I missed it I humbly say so sorry.

Way point the hammock on your GPS, thats the only way your going to find it again. as for the video, if I am correct... load to video gallery, then go back to your post,go advanced, then click attachment (paperclip). But since you got your video on youtube, very nice job by the way, right click the url for your video and click "copy". go to your post, Go advanced, click on "add link' , then enter your url for your video by right clicking and then click 'paste'.
ask the moderators thats what they do here, administer advice and knowledge.
