Officially cutting myself off....cold turkey

May need a sponsor for this but I am officially cutting myself off of anymore hammock, camping or hammock camping related purchases for a minimum of 3 months. Vendors - put me on a do not sell list. Fellow hammock dudes and dudettes - please don't tempt me and if you see me posting in a for sale forum, feel free to de-pants me in the virtual sense in front of God and everybody. Mods - cut me off on the for sale forums if you can and don't let me set up a pseudonym identity just to make purchases. I can't be trusted to not scratch the itch.

I've got exactly what I need and all that I'll ever need. Nothing more or less.

I know it has gotten bad when I start trolling the for sale forum just because I have a few bucks in the account. Need to put that money to other uses or just save it up for a while.

Easy to do...just get a new hobby and spend it there. I chose tree climbing.

The needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the few. So in the name of Charity you should donate one-half of your gear to those--here--In Need. This noble cause would lend itself to receiving warm, fuzzy feelings from your fellow hammockers, and ultimately place you [back] into the very same category: In Need.

You have gotten to the point that you have all the gear you need....Hard to say without snickering!!!

Well, you go to the "for sale" forum to sell, not buy. Then you have "gear money" and not "Need to put that money to other uses..." money. Then you can use the "newfoundmoney" to go to the "for sale" forum and get upgraded gear.
