Very nice. Are there details of that triple locked splice anywhere? I know I should just experiment and figure it out myself, but I read once, "Don't use your own head when you can use somebody else's." I was just about to make a ridgeline + suspension system based on alpine butterfly knots (which in 7/64 amsteel should be good for the 200 lbs or so of me plus the occasional canine) but your method looks stronger.
Very cool, nice innovation.
Good luck,

I have to say, I'm VERY disappointed I played the video......eagerly anticipating the little blue guy with the white beard
Seriously though, I like the concept. You're always on the cutting edge, that's for sure! I expected you to attach to the spliced loop from a continuous loop on hammock with a whoopie hook. Not sure how that would work, if at all.
You keep giving me more reasons to postpone my DH order
Sweet! Hey, I'd like to pre-order three of those (pre-respectfully-request) in DynaGlide... which I think I could trust, as I'm a welterweight -- if I'm wearing heavy linens on a rainy day. That'd be for my 2015 PCT trip and some training and R&R beforehand.
