We use HDPE in our piping systems at work. In SDR 11 and 17 mostly. Some SDR 21.

I ordered some amsteel for a ridgeline and slings. If amsteel is so slippery how do I attach a DIY hammock with gathered ends to the ridge line?
For the suspension I am using a double sheet bend with 7/64 amsteel on a DIY gathered end, with an extra wrap of the tail around the line where it tightens up to secure it. It's seen limited use, but so far, so good. I do check it every time I hang.
For my ridgeline - I put a button hole in the hammock fabric 6" in from each end (centered). I run the ridgeline through that and have a loop at the end. The suspension line runs through that loop. I may have a picture I can add that might help (using different cord that I would never recommend now) but shows the idea.
Use at your own risk!
