    Hammock city with the kids...

I have 4 sons. I have never really attempted having them camp in their little ENO Traveler hammocks I bought a few years ago. This weekend I hooked them up with a little hammock city outside our cabin complete with ridgelines set for what I thought would be best for them, old sleeping pads I cut in half and a variety of tarps. They loved it! Slept like rocks. 2 of them are still asleep and all have been excited about how comfortable they were. What a fun weekend. Happy Fathers Day to me.

TessedeTerrible, my sons are 8,7,7,5. We have a cabin in a nearby forest, so "learning" to hang there is great since a bed is only a few steps away if needed. But 3 out of 4 made it 2 nights straight thru in the low 50s. Of course, I'm now on the lookout for some used underquilts. I can't imagine my old camping pads were that comfortable for them.

Cool good deal, great to get them started early.
You may want to consider some diy UQ's. Could probably make four for the price of one nice UQ or just a little more. Plus youd have custom sizes so they fit each boy without being overkill..

    Good luck!
