I'm new to hammocking. is there anybody close by that would be willing to show me their set up so I cancan see what it's like?

MamaSmurf and I would be more than happy to have you down to visit the Dream Hammock world headquarters facility (aka, my workshop ) one of these Sunday afternoons. We could hang all the new hammocks up and try them out before we send them out to their new owners. I'd also be happy show you different suspension systems as well as pull out some tarps and insulation and show you several different setups.

I'm in Akron and have a couple of different hammock setups. My most used is the Warbonnet with whoopie slings.. also have an ENO setup.. there are more than a few of us in Akron that go out nearly every weekend. We've found a few nice sites in the area. I'd be glad to show you my gears as well.

You are one lucky new hanger to get a private invite to the Dream cave with PappaSmurf doing show and tell. I'm over in NW Pa. and on your way if you ever travel to the Alleghany National Forest for some trail time. I'd show you what I have and talk gear with you, anytime! I have a Roaming Gnome that has been seeing a bunch of use lately and 4 other different mfgrs hammies. Gear head, me!
