First Outing in NX-250 with New UGQ Quilts

Wow, the first two nights with my full length 20° Zepplin uq and 40° Flight Jacket tq were blissfully cozy, comfy, and restful. The Zep went on super-easy and formed an instant tight seal when I routed the ends underneath the head and foot hoops. As soon as I laid in the hammock I was totally snuggled in warmth by the Zep that came up several inches above my shoulders. Temp only got down to mid 40s so I slept in my lightweight silk night shirt and shorts with the Clark's integrated Weathershield open half way and the tq only pulled up to mid chest. Not having a pad slipping around under my feet (though a ENO Hot Wings SPE had helped under the torso) and the lack of constriction by a sleeping bag was all I hoped it would be. Oh, and I stowed all my clothes in the storage pockets underneath the hammock (but above the uq) and they were warm as toast in the morning chill when I slipped them on; Priceless.

I need to remember to shoot some pics in porch mode before I batten down for incoming weather. I've since adjusted the ends so they don't extend so far through the pole sleeves

So the UQC underquilt worked well? Easy fit and no sliding? I was thinking of getting a 20* zeppelin for my tx-150, but i have the z-liner currently as well as 3 season AHE jarbridge, so not sure i need to get another underquilt. of course there is need and there is need.

Nice looking UgQ. The colors are cool. Whats in the Blue Bottle ? Is it a little shot of Whiskey? Just kidding

Thanks, the quilts greatly increase freedom of movement and the comfort of sleeping in a hammock when compared to a sleeping bag and pad. The taller blue bottle is my Sawyer filter bottle. The flask next to the blue bottle contained Macallan 12 year single malt ☆

I too use an UQ on my clark, at first when I switched from a HH to the Clark I wasn't sure if the UQ would fit with the hoop poles, but the fit is snug and warm.
