    Ocoee River recommendations

My son and I are rafting the Ocoee on July 5 and plan to camp/hang on the 4th. Does anyone have any good recommendations for places close to the river. I did a seach for Ocoee and found nothing. Thanks. Mikej

I have camped here in the past. Right by the river. Adequate, but nothing fancy.

We stayed at Hiwasse/Ocoee State Park back around the first week of June. Very nice campground. Primitive camping but with nice sites and a good, clean, bathhouse. About a 15 min drive from the Hwy 64/US 411 junction.

Google Tennessee State Parks. They have an excellent online reservation system.

Just googled the TN State Park site. That really is a nice site. Thanks for that tip, GF129.
