If anyone is ordering Amsteel 1/8 let me know

and maybe we can share shipping costs. I've looked all I care to look and where ever I order it from it seems like I'm to be raped on shipping.
So if any one orders any let me know and I'll PayPal you for the Amsteel and my part of the shipping.
When the time comes I need 40 feet of it.
    Thanks!

I just ordered some from Seattle Marine last night. Would help you out if I had a time machine.

Doesn't Seattle Marine do Parcel Post shipping? That ought to be cheap enough?

I ordered through redden marine a little while back. If you actually call in your order, the shipping is really decent. They are also the cheapest source of Amsteel I have found. I ordered 100' about 3 weeks ago and another 300' just a few days ago.

Someone also posted a link somewhere on here about a marine place that was doing a free shipping special on all orders through the end of the month I believe. It was 24 Cents a foot and came out to me more then I would pay at Redden Marine even with the shipping though.

    shipping

When I called Redden Marine to make my order of 100' of 7/32 at $0.16/foot the shipping was 4 dollars to central Ohio.

Got 200' of 7/64 @ $0.14 and 100' of 1/8 @$0.24 from Seattle Marine. Shipping was $10.74, and a handling fee of $1.75 got added in, to my surprise.

I'd played around with shopping cart quantities of each to find the shipping cost break points and ordered accordingly.

I'm guessing the net result was about the same as buying the line at about $0.18 & $0.29, respectively.

Next time I'll try a phone order.
