Folks, I'd like to follow up on an older WTB thread from the spring, in which a number of generous folks on this forum agreed to buy a new Hennessy Scout for a special needs Cub Scout in my Pack. Here's a link to the thread if you're interested in reading.
This past weekend was our Family Campout and the first chance that Jonathan had to go camping and hanging. After several nights, he reports that he enjoyed sleeping in the hammock, and will continue to use it for Summer Camp and perhaps in family camping as well. Certainly, the hammock was a win and he is a happier Scout because of it. I'm including a picture of Jonathan with his new hammock here. Again, I'm grateful to everyone involved in the earlier thread and was awed by the generosity of everyone here in the forums.
