Be careful with using sticks you find on the ground. Had myself a grounding happen as the stick totally disintegrated...

Although I've never had a carbon fiber toggle fail, I have heard enough failure stories to lead me away from them. If used correctly, aluminum will not fail. Is the meager weight savings worth it?

Thanks for the advice. The video helped. I have seen Shug's video before, but didn't pay any attention to the toggles, seeing as I had a stock Hennessy and my mind was glazing over at all the info.

No archery shops around that I know of...but that doesn't mean there isn't...

I think that the sight I was looking at has them for $1 a pair. I have no use for them right now since I am still in my Hennessy and using the ginormous suspension that is came with.

I am still learning so much! (like even at 64 degrees, I still need an UQ - found out the hard way)

Again, I've never had a CF toggle fail, it's just that I'm not willing to take a chance. There are probably just as many success stories as there are failures. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Good idea. Always good to have multipurpose items. I saw someone do the same thing with waterproof match containers.
