Good deal RedStix, hope to see you there. We welcome you and all your Louisiana brethren. Whether cuisine or conversation, Cajun seasons each equally well.

Im interested. Live in Gulfport. Just saw the thread yesterday. Is that near Laurel?
Oops! Is Homochita near Laurel?
Between Brookhaven and Natchez. This is good. The ranks seem to be growing. I know there are a few others from the coast. Help us out and point them in the direction of the thread if you can.

The only one I know of from the coast is Drifter. I am new at posting on this site. I will try searching for things he has recently posted and try to reply and let him know about this thread unless there is a better way?
I ran by the Clear Springs campgrounds down there yesterday as I was in the neighborhood on business. It looks like a nice layout with plenty of hardwood trees and easy access to just about everything. I saw that there was a designated group campground behind a pipe gate. We may already have enough folks to qualify for that area. The steep terrain looked like it was custom-made for the non-ground dwelling clan. I'm looking forward to it.
That rocks! Good word sir.

One more cajun here, from Slidell. Sounds like a good hang. I will be at the 4th annual LA Fall Hang at lake Kincaid in October. I have been wanting to attend a hike/hang closer to home. I Hope I am able to join in.
