NH > NEHHA/Great Pumpkin Hang planning thread.

Hey folks, looking to get a better sense of which weekend would work best for everyone. I have already heard that October is better than September. So working under that guideline I personally am looking at the weekend of the 17th OR the weekend of the 24th. Let me know which one works best for you. I am still working where the location is, so stay tuned for that.

Once we have the date settled we will start the actual planning of the weekend. If you have any suggestions for what you would like to see throughout the weekend you can PM me or post it here.

Looking for to hanging with you guys and gals

    Thumbs up

Seeing as the Fall MAHHA is 10/10-10/12, 10/24 would get my vote. Back to back weekend outings could put a lot of guys in the doghouse. Not that that would stop me from going.

===> We might see if Cindy would be willing to host the Great Pumpkin Hang again on her gorgeous 200+ acres of land in NH. We had a great time there last year!

===> Well, we did have a good time at Grout Pond there! Plus, it is near the terminus of the Long Trail, AND close to the AT, for folks wanting a day hike.

The color change in October, in either VT or NH, is spectacular. I made a jump last October at Orange, and at altitude (13,500 ft) I could see the actual color line as it moved south in VT. In Freefall, it was absolutely stunning - like jumping into a painting!

October 11th is the only weekend I'm not available but the 24th would work better. Where ever we have it I think we need to make sure it can handle the numbers we get now.
