I might know how to hang my hammock. But not to sure about setting up a thread. So this is the same update. Just reposting so people can find it a little easier. If it gets buried again Ill do this again. The weekend is almost here.

Looks like we are going to have great weather that weekend, and the colors on the trees are really popping. If they don't get blown away, its going to be a beautiful weekend.

I was just at YRSF yesterday. The stream at Brown's hollow is running. There was no firewood at the campsites this time. I work Friday night but I'll try to make Saturday.

Thanks for that heads up on the water there. I was wondering because we just had that rain. I guess I better get their early to cut some. Hope you can make it . We'll keep some trees open and a spot by the fire for ya.

Are you parking at the parking area that shows up after the trail to Brown's Hollow, or up at the HQ?

Since some of You Never been there before, here's detailed directions: register at HQ, then go East (?) about a hundred yards on the blacktop rd. This is the lumber mill. drive over toward the porta potty, turn right down the "road." go past the Fire tower and eventually you get to Browns hollow parking area. There will be other vehicles there. It's about a half mile hike back in. Look forward to seeing ya. also looking forward to someone showing how to get to Glen Wendel area.

To get to Glen Wendel: Park at the HQ, walk back out to the road, turn left then turn left again at the information hut. the trail to Glen Wendel starts there.

The tractor beam from the Superior Hiking trail has me firmly in its grasp. I was looking forward to joining you folks in the fall colors....but....I....must....go....North. Catch you next time.

Im parking at the parking lot on Fire tower road south end of the park by Browns Hollow. I plan on being there a little after noon. It will be a red dodge truck.
