WTB: 40' bear line / food hanging rope

Im leaving on a trip in several days and I just discovered that my new pct hanging system doesn't work easily with the two knotted together pieces of amsteel I have. I need a single continuous line so it slips through my carabiner.
I'm looking to buy 40 or 50' of 2.2 lash it or amsteel blue. Or something that would work similarly well.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Or you can use the two pieces you have and connect them with an end-to-end splice.

Amsteel is much much stronger than you need for a food rope. Also, take my advice and use at least 50'. Go to your local sporting goods store and get a spool of braided fishing line. It's nice if it's a hollow braid and easily to splice but not essential. How much will your food bag weigh? 20 lbs at most? Get 50 lb test line. It will be easier to throw over the higher branches you'll need for the PCT method.
