Largest CONUS Hang?

So I have been reading and looking and I have seen so many annual hangs and I am unsure If maybe I haven't read enough but, Is there a specific hang or anything that is like the end all of all hangs? Such as the equivalent of Bonaroo or Woodstock to music? I am curious to know because for one that would be awesome! Plus I would be curious to see how many hangers we could get in one place. You could have all the vendors that could come and do like small demos of their gear and hammocks and be able to buy some of their products and gear, see so many peoples gear and set ups and meet so many awesome people. Have dutch oven and campfire cooking cook offs, have people and companies who have invented different camping products (stoves, tarps, poles, camping trailers, even some tents possibly) come out and show them off. Basically have like a huge field day or weekend of outdoor awesomeness. Where people could see more stuff than they ever could in a store or in any other place. Do we have that anywhere? It would be almost like a festival I guess. If not could we make one? How would we make one? What would we need? Would people even be interested in this? Would people travel to it? I am just highly curious and any input is awesome!

Believe Florida is the largest hang so far. Last January, 100 hangers came together in Ocala National Forest.

I would love to see something with over 250 hangers in one place to start with for something like this then if the most is 100. Then see where it could go. I just feel like there is so much untapped potential here for something like this.

Donna here...There have been between 110 and 130+ at the last couple years of the Spring MAHHAs

Also...most places that allow that many hammocks, don't allow vendor sales unless a permit is applied for. Most hangs are for fun, fellowship, food and demonstrations.

You might want to check out Trail Days every year in May.

Thanks Donna! I just checked out the site and that is pretty much what I was looking for! Bunch of vendors, Camping, music, food, fun and fellowship! I've been seriously considering the MAHHA hang, either fall or spring but its a bit of a trek for me this year from NC. I will probably hold off til next year but it is definitely on my list to do!
