I'm new to all this and I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to hang my WBBB (when it gets here). All Dutch's stuff looks like it would make the process easier but I'm confused by all the various options and why I would choose one over the other.
Will these G-clips work with the webbing provided with my WBBB and replace the need of carabiners?
And for tarp hanging (WB Edge in my case) it's my understanding that the designed method of hanging is to use lines at each end as opposed to a CRL. So, do I use Dutch Wasps on each end of my tarp or stingers or tarp flyz?
I'm not really concerned about weight at this point.
Thanks.
For your tarp, I got the Edge too and attached tarp flyz directly to the rings on each end of the tarp. I got the idea from watching the video on the Warbonnet website. They work great.
Not sure about your hammock hardware. I use the whoopie slings along with Dutch clips to attach the whoopies to the tree strap.
But if you're not concerned about weight just save a few bucks and use a regular carabiner for your hammock. The only reason I bought the Dutch clips was for weight saving. Tarp Flyzs, however, are not only light but make setting up your tarp so easy.
Ok, so no advantage of Dutch clips over biners other than weight.
What about the difference btw Stingerz, Flys, and Wasps?
Thanks.
The g clip will work with the webbing that comes with your wbbb fine. The g clip replaces the buckles that cime with the wbbb and the carabiner.
