EE has a good reputation in the ultralight hiking community.

I initially bought one of their top quilts because it came with tabs and straps to make it work as a top quilt on the ground or hammock. It also has tabs to allow you to attach bungees to allow you to hang it as an underquilt.

I appreciated the light weight and flexibility.

I now have two EE quilts one top and one bottom.

They are a well respected company who manufacture in the US and have prices that can compete with all the foreign imports.

I like that they make such a wide variety and styles of quilts to match many requirements.
A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.

My daughter and I each have a EE top quilt, they are excellent. I had a couple of telephone discussions and email conversations, excellent service and product. I am cranky and picky, yet there were absolutely no problems, I am very pleased.

I own the Rev 20 x top quilt and love it. Made with seconds, but would never know it. Great warmth; no regrets.

I have 2 of their RevX ( no longer offered ) TQs, one is rate to 0 degres and the other to 30 dregrees. Great TQs and they keep me toasty warm. Excellent quality and I would highly recommend their products.

My son did a 1,000 mile section hike of the AT this year. He departed March 21st and he ran into some nasty cold weather. He used a EE OQ with an Exped mat and he says that it kept him very warm. When I get to buying an UQ for my Warbonnet BB it will be from Enlightened Equipment.

do a search for him over on backpackinglight.com He's huge over there, many many threads. His quilts come up in the gear swap every once and awhile. Never because of the quilt some people just realize quilts aren't for them or need to underestimated what they needed.

I have one of Tim's 10 degree RevX TQs. Best value of all my gear hands down.
