    I have a cap-clip-on black light that I can use that would charge it a lot faster than a flashlight, but say you are reading in the hammock with your head lamp - the light from that would be enough to charge it, even for a little while.

    I have some glow-in-the-dark paint that can glow as long as 24 hours on a full charge, but the same cannot be said for the thread or any other glow fabric that I know of. You will only get a few hours of glow on a full charge if you are lucky.

    Yeah, even my GID zipper pulls only glow well for an hour or so, and they are plastic.
