Welcome from Greenville, SC. There are many easy and quick set ups here. Try to find a group hang and come take a look at the different set ups. You'll never imagine what all is out here. 30D is fine for a tarp.

On your Black Willow hammock, please be careful when using any hammock that features "550 paracord hangers". It's generally agreed that stronger, more stretch resistant materials are needed and most other hammock vendors use Amsteel Blue cord for hammock suspensions.
