Have plans and specs for that puppy? How much to make one and what does it and all the extras weigh?

I will use them as well, but that tree looks fine with me. Where is the problem? Looks like the bike was there for about 30 years and tree is still alive. Now if that bike was made out of copper, it would be another story

and BTW, I don't think that bike was placed there by a tree dweller either. Dam cyclists!

but to encourage others to do stuff that is likely to damage trees... especially when it can put a bad light on the growing hammock community. ...tim
