Hi all from a newbie in coastal VA

I am a motorcycle camper that was recently introduced to hanging by my son. I was delighted to find this forum. It is an amazing resource of information and tips. The DIY section has motivated me to break out the thread injector and polish my chops. I plan to to start on a Hennesy clone in the next week or two.
Thanks to everyone that makes this such a vibrant useful source of knowledge.

Welcome from Manassas. I'm sure you are better with your thread injector than me but if you haven't done so already I would suggest starting with something simple like the table cloth hammocks in the DIY section. I learned a lot by making a few simple hammocks and I'm still using some of them.

Welcome from the apple house in linden.
Put a pot of chili on the stove to simmer. Let it simmer. Meanwhile, broil a good steak. Eat the steak. Let the chili simmer. Ignore it. -- Allan Shivers

Welcome from Florida! It's nice to see the younger generation able to teach the older one new tricks
